In “Radio Londres”, Axel Bauer discusses the meaning of resistance
Before people discovered Axel Bauer in the 1980s with his hit “Cargo”, they were more acquainted with his father, Franck, who was one of the most famous voices of the radio and a spy during World War II. To pay tribute to his father who passed away in 2018, the singer included a snippet of his voice at the beginning and the end of the track titled “Ici Londres” (Here’s London).
Axel Bauer’s new album also talks about resistance in today’s society and how some people use it without really understanding its true meaning.
