“Clue” has been revamped for social media

Are you ready to play detective 2.0? Well, the iconic “Clue” board game is being reinvented through a new format designed especially for Instagram.

After TV shows and movies, it is now the turn of board games to be adapted into immersive experiences. This is done thanks to American company Hasbro that has launched a 2.0 version of its famous “Clue” board game.

To play, it is quite simple. Players are tasked to find the murderer of Boddy Black among six suspects. The game will take place over the next four weeks and users will be able to access new clues every day on the official Instagram account of “Clue”. To make the investigation even more realistic, Hasbro has partnered with car maker McLaren, fashion designer Halston and Ring, Amazon’s security-equipped doorbells with monitoring.
